Fire Alarm

Last night we had the fire men over!! Ill tell you the story! Well the fire alarm went off at 1:00 in the morning i didn't think anything of it because Zanes alarm goes off at the strangest hours so i thought it was his alarm clock. I tried to get back to sleep but then there was this smell i sat up right then my mom burst in my room and told me to get up. The smell was strongest upstairs and the strongest spot of the smell upstairs was MY ROOM!! So my mom called Grandma and said can the kids come over theres smoke in the house and the fire alarms going off and we can't find what the smokes coming from. They all thought it was from my room. The alarm went off again and we hurrie over to Grandma's. My parents were over there unplugging all the electric things in my room. After that they got our coats and shoes and gave them to us we went out to the truck. My parent's called 911. We waited for them to show up.We had 2 fire truck's in front of the house and 2 cheif car's and an ambulance. They went in to the house with long poles and an ax i thought they were going to tear the house down!! One of the neighbors came up from the end of the street and stood there with my parents. The fire men cheif thought my curling iron was the cause but it wasn't because my door was shut and if it was what she thought the smoke would have filled up the room and killed me before it got out of the door because smoke rises. So imagine how i feel thinking that i caused this big mess!!!!! But they soon after that they founf it was the furnace had backfired. i felt much better then. We all tried going to sleep but i was to scared that the fire alarm would go off again. And then Baxter's alarm clock went off and the last time i thought it was a alarm clock it was smoke so i kinda freakedout quietly though until my mom shut it off. So after that i had a really hard time going to sleep. i finally did. so now im writing this and my hand's and feet are freezing because the furnace isn't working!!!!!!!!!! So that is why the fire men came over last night!
